Hi, I'm Steph!
My approach to therapy is all about self compassion and connection. I am not just a sit and nod therapist. I use my training in DBT to teach you coping skills and how to build a greater quality of life. I am also trained in EMDR and work from a trauma-informed, strength-based approach. I strongly believe that setting boundaries and learning to use self care can lead to a happier, more peaceful you.
My practice is designed to be a soft yet sturdy landing place for women seeking transformative healing. I firmly believe that rapport and "human-ness" is the foundation for a successful therapeutic relationship. I will validate and gently challenge when necessary as well as provide additional insight and feedback that can help you understand what may not be working in your current life.
Fun Facts about me:
I LOVE DOGS! I have two terrier mixes who are my daily joy.
Going out to eat may be my favorite past time.
Reality TV or bust. It's my fave way to turn off my brain and focus on other peoples drama.
SCREAM is my comfort movie.
I'm truly enjoy moving my body - walking, strength training, and hopefully adding yoga to the mix!
I love to read - give me a quick thriller, memoir, or (randomly) a historical fiction.
I'm a craft, board game, activity girlie (I love a lawn game).
I love live music, a nice hike, cozy nights at home, and weekend getaways with my girlfriends! These things truly fill my cup.

Individual Therapy
Tailored one-on-one sessions for women navigating trauma, body image, anxiety, and the unique challenges of modern life. However, you do not have to have these specific challenges to work with me. I can provide space and support through all of the very real and very human things we face in our day to day.
EMDR Sessions
EMDR Therapy is a comprehensive therapy approach that is designed to help overcome stressful life experiences. EMDR can target single event traumas or series of smaller traumas or experiences that contribute to anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, low self-esteem and more.
